 1983, Charles Long founder of Private Security began his Law Enforcement  as a SLEO with the Attorney Generals Office. He than transferred over to be a Deputy Sheriff for the State of Hawaii.   In 1986 Long took the plunge to business owner and started Private Security Group Inc.

The goal was to bring professionalized security services to the Hawaii marketplace.  Today, Private Security Group is recognized for delivering excellence security programs that surpass standard requirements and meet each client's unique needs.  Recognizing that customer service and a well-trained and fully prepared security officer is the key to success, our comprehensive and innovative training programs are the foundation of our service.
